In February, I visited Bury Jazz Society at the town’s Baden Powell Hall. The society gathers each week to listen to and discuss their favourite music of the genre, with one member giving a presentation. Following my visit I produced the following audio package which will be broadcast on Radio Bury following its launch.
Meet the Author
I have recently completed a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Salford.
I have over four years of experience in sports broadcasting and have previously worked as a lead journalist for a Manchester-based magazine.
I am an NCTJ-qualified journalist, and have passed modules including Essential Media Law, Public Affairs, Sports Journalism and Shorthand 80wpm. I am also skilled with Adobe Premier Pro and Audition.
